CLS have been an invaluable source to my school. They are on hand with advice from books to how best to display and promote materials.
As well has having access to amazing and current books, they also have museum artefacts that my scholars have enjoyed from animals to Shakespeare's Swan Theatre. These can be shared outside of your library space and skeletons and bones have proved very popular and are a useful resource for our art department.
CLS shared their support with our school move, moving two libraries from two sites to a new building and being on hand to help and advise with boxing up, even to go as far as lending me crates, stock taking and ensuring my library was current, inclusive and diverse.
They run book talking sessions which engage scholars in their reading journeys and they have book knowledge beyond the norm and have great CPD resources and offer library networking which has made me as a sole worker feel supported and part of a team outside of my school.
