Primary New Books Training

A chance to hear about new books and authors for primary schools

Are you looking for inspiring and appealing new books to use in class or brighten up your school library/book corner? Do you want some ideas to move pupils on from Rainbow Fairies and David Walliams?

If so then come along to our Primary New Books Training on 3rd October 2019.

Our team of CLS librarians will be talking about the best new fictionPhoto of book spines for Key Stage 2 titles for primary school pupils in 2 separate sessions – one for EYFS/KS1 and another for KS2. The sessions will run concurrently 2-4pm in our showroom at County Hall.

Find out about the best new authors and fantastic new books by established writers. We will also promote excellent reads for building empathy, promoting resilience and books which may tie into some popular topics.

There will be time given to browse the books, ask further questions, and schools with a CLS subscription will be able to borrow the books (subject to their module choices).

Book early and take the opportunity to ask us to include certain themes or types of suggestions in our planning that you might be struggling with.

For anyone unable to make to it to CLS on that day there is an online option available to purchase the reading list only.

Please book using the link below by Monday 23rd September 2019.

Please put your school name, names of staff attending and which Key Stage and any access needs in the Comment box below.
