Exciting, practical full day course for KS2 primary and KS3 secondary teachers

Trainers: Alan Gibbons

Alan taught for many years in primary and secondary schools and has spent the last decade visiting 2,000 schools in the UK and overseas. Alan will concentrate on demonstrating scaffolding to structure the writing of event the most reluctant writer. Alan Gibbons is an award-winning author. Among his eighteen literary awards are the televised Blue Peter Book Award ‘The Book I Couldn’t Put Down.’ He has twice been shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal. He is the recipient of the Fred Jarvis Award for services to education.

In this CPD, Alan Gibbons award winning author and educational consultant will explore opportunities for writing fiction, non-fiction and poetry in areas of the curriculum other than English alone: History, Geography, PSHE, RE, Art and Music. It will be a practical, hands on session applicable to KS2 and KS3.Alan Gibbons Author
