Our team of professional librarians specialise in school libraries and resource centres, and have a passion for developing user friendly spaces. From small school book corners to large secondary library resource areas, we can advise on all aspects of design, set-up, development, use and ongoing maintenance, giving practical guidance on how to edit, classify and design your library space. We can offer personalised training for library staff on all aspects of library management and development.  Whether you’re new to working in libraries or need a refresher, we can work with you to develop those skills you need to provide a good secondary school library in the 21st century.   • 1 library advice visit is 3 hours.
    To be booked as 3-hour block of time.

Sessions can also be booked through our pay as you go system. Please contact us for costs per hour.

I sometimes find it difficult to edit my library stock effectively - throwing books away doesn't come easily to librarians! Being a part of CLS means that I have the support of a knowledgeable and friendly librarian who will come along to school to help me edit my stock and keep the library up to date.
